Playing with a thumbpick can be challenging, even if you've already been playing for quite a while with a flatpick.
Some say, "Stick with it and eventually, it will click."
Maybe...
...but that's not very good advice in my opinion! Unfortunatly, it leads to many people tossing it in a drawer and giving up on the thumbpick.
